Live video from Behind the scenes animal enclosure at the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center at Penitentiary Glen camera
The fox kits you watched on the webcam have been released back into the wild after a few months stay at the facility. The foxes were orphaned at a young age and did not have the skills to care for themselves when they arrived at the center. They were slowly introduced to an adult female fox who eventually served as a surrogate mother. She watched over them and taught them important skills they would need in the wild. As they grew, they tested their strength, jumping and running abilities as they played and interacted with each other, all healthy ways for young foxes to grow. They were released and will live successful lives in the wild. Stay tuned to see what new animal(s) we have next!
