The Bobcat Cam is back! Now is your chance to peek into the fascinating life of Ohio’s bobcats. This young, female bobcat was found in Harrison County and brought to a rehabilitation center in Stark County before making her way to us. While she is too young to be on her own just yet, she is a strong and fierce bobcat already. Each day brings something new to see, so enjoy watching her grow and develop until she is ready to enjoy the freedom of the wild. The bobcat will be released sometime in spring 2027. Bobcats were taken off the endangered species list in Ohio, but remain a protected species. The young fox kits that were in this enclosure in summer 2026 were successfully released back to the wild. They were raised by our resident adult female fox who is a surrogate for orphaned wild foxes brought to the facility. The interaction and nurturing she gave the kits allowed them to grow and develop skills to help them survive in the wild. New kits will eventually be introduced to the enclosure and to the female fox who will act as their foster mother—an invaluable opportunity for orphaned young kits.
